Let us finish the introduction and move to the chorus
RA Torrey once said, "Nights of prayer to God are followed by days of power with men." I stole that quote from Becky Tirabassi. I'm sure she won't mind.
Guys, I feel as though this last semester has been a beautifully sung introduction. We prayed fervently, preached with courage and neverwavered once. It was beautiful. But I'm reminded of how this is only the introduction to the song of revival.
We have been met with amazing crescendos this semester (e.g. Good Friday and 24/7 Prayer), but I don't want to be content with what I have seen and experienced. I have been blessed to see a girl diagnosed with cancer receive negative test results during 24/7 prayer. I have been blessed to see 100+ prayer warriors gather for public worship and prayer. I have been blessed to see a street preacher put down his sign and get on his knees to pray with student leaders. But I know that we serve a God that is desiring for more. I know that this semester has only been the beginning of the beginning. I know that God has already composed an amazing chorus for next semester. And I can't wait.
To reiterate, RA Torrey once said, "Nights of prayer to God are followed by days of power with men." I believe this now more than I ever have in my life before. But I also believe that a semester of prayer can produce a semester, year or years of revival. And I think we have only seen the beginning of the beginning of a revival. Let's make a pact never to push through until we see this entire campus transformed for Jesus.
You guys rock. Praise the Lion of Judah!

"Do men make their own gods? Yes, but they are not gods! Therefore I will teach them - this time I will teach them my power and might. Then they will know that my name is the Lord
