Arms High and Heart Abandoned

With arms high and heart abandoned!

On the Twelfth Month, on the First Day

Hey, wow, This is the blog that has been waiting a long time but I really feel the push to make sure this is published. Haha So I will give the story that I have given so many times to really show the power and hand of God over our Made2Worship event on December 1st. It is important to stress our need o declare the freedom and battles He has given us, and decreed for us. This is very prophetic and deals a lot with the words the Lord has spoken to us individually and especially the Bible coming alive. But Praise The Lord!

So background......
I was in Mexico the 2nd weekend of November, and I come back and there is a huge worship event that we have been dreaming of, ALL set up, everything done and completed. Like flyers, video, facebook group, shirts, you name it!! It was supernaturally fast and totally like a fire put in us to accomplish it.

So we have been praying to God for His guidance on how to defeat the enemy holding over the campus in death, and debauchery. We had been praying and fasting for the Lord to reveal His plan for ASU. So weeks prior we felt a real voice that has been pushing death on our campus is an attack in the spirit of Pharaoh (oppression, pride, slavery, wealth, ancient) and Leviathan (a sea monster, pride, ancient). So I return to ASU after mexico and I am stoked, like whoa, a HUGE worship event involving at least 8 different Christian Clubs on the campus!! I was just like so ready to worship! Come on, I mean, thats huge, the body uniting together to seal in the semester with undignified worship. But yeah, I am praying that week and going through my regular Bible reading, and actually I was 4 days behind on my reading. So the Thursday reading would have been Sunday's (the day the event was planned) and on that thursday reading I read, after all the event was planned, the day was chosen and everything. I read Ezekiel 32:

A Lament for Pharaoh
1 In the twelfth year, in the twelfth month on the first day, the word of the LORD came to me: 2 "Son of man, take up a lament concerning Pharaoh king of Egypt and say to him:
" 'You are like a lion among the nations;
you are like a monster in the seas
thrashing about in your streams,
churning the water with your feet
and muddying the streams.

3 " 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says:
" 'With a great throng (alt. 'a large group' NCV) of people
I will cast my net over you,
and they will haul you up in my net.
4 I will throw you on the land
and hurl you on the open field.
I will let all the birds of the air settle on you
and all the beasts of the earth gorge themselves on you.
5 I will spread your flesh on the mountains
and fill the valleys with your remains.
6 I will drench the land with your flowing blood
all the way to the mountains,
and the ravines will be filled with your flesh.
7 When I snuff you out, I will cover the heavens
and darken their stars;
I will cover the sun with a cloud,
and the moon will not give its light.
8 All the shining lights in the heavens
I will darken over you;
I will bring darkness over your land,
declares the Sovereign LORD.
9 I will trouble the hearts of many peoples
when I bring about your destruction among the nations,
among lands you have not known.
10 I will cause many peoples to be appalled at you,
and their kings will shudder with horror because of you
when I brandish my sword before them.
On the day of your downfall
each of them will tremble
every moment for his life.

and so Whoa!!!! I mean come on!!! Like, I have heard of allegorical confirmations, but to blatantly talk about the day and exactly what happened! PRAISE GOD, why not? He can do all things, I do not want to be one that puts Him in a box!
So the next day, I read my Eljiahlist.com e-newsletter and it's Kim Clement (a nationally known minister) talking about the water for Phoenix, az. Specific for here, and He is talking about how the waters will be set for revival, and new water will be coming. Here's what he felt that God was saying:

"I will begin with this city[Phoenix]. I will take the salt of forgiveness, the salt of unity, and the salt of grace, and I will take it to the source of the water supply of the cities of Arizona. And I will pour it into it, and the waters that were meant for revival, and the waters that were meant for breakthrough, and the waters that were meant for restoration that became impure because of religion, are going to be purified in these cities."

revival! That is the Lord's heart, to Revive His church, His bride. That is the Lord's heart, He wants a generation that only care to understand the Grace of God, Where all they know is that Jesus has taken them from the gutter, RADICALLy transformed their hearts, soul, mind, body, and put on new garments of purity. that is what we pray for, the greatest miracle! Salvations! Radically saved people, and that is what ASU is full of..... students desiring a new thing, a new passion, a new thing to live for besides the death, drugs, drinking, school, books, friends.

ASU now has a place for the Christians, people will think now of the Christians and remember the crazy dancers on Hayden Lawn praising God, or the ones who pray 24 hours a day and can't spend enough time with their God. ASU's atmosphere is changing and we are standing on those promises revealed and will not stop wrestling until there is breakthrough in our Generation! Many people have come up to me after the event on Dec 1st, and they all saw it, different friends, different dorms, they thought it was awesome, and they werent Christians. It's just so cool to be here in this time and I praise God for what He has allowed us to witness and partner with Him in it. LOVE ASU

Touched By Extravagant Worship!

The All-Campus Worship Gathering was so amazing! We saw at least 8 different Christian campus ministries converge together as one Body to worship Jesus as the King of Kings! As Jon said before the meeting, "This is not the end of something great...it's the beginning of something greater!"

A friend of mine told me that he couldn't stop weeping for the entire worship session! He was so undone by the presence of God!

After the worship time, freshman girl came up to us and pulled us aside. She had tears streaming down her face, as she explained that she had been running from the Lord since August. She was in her dorm room where she felt very cold, so she decided to go out for a run on that Friday evening. She heard the music and wandered over towards the meeting, though she knew nothing about it. God had so touched her at that worship time, that she came up and rededicated her life to Jesus!!

The Lost Are Found!

I have continued to hear new stories of what God has done through the 24-hour prayer this semester! A little over 3 weeks ago, a young man came into the prayer chapel in the morning. He began to talk with a student outside the chapel about how important it is to seek God and discover Him for ourselves. The young man was very receptive and even asked how to get to heaven! He gave his life to Jesus that very morning and has begun to study the Bible for himself!

One student felt led to pray for a young man who was meeting with people to talk about Jesus. At the very moment he was praying for the young man's salvation, that man gave his life to Jesus!

Another student was at the prayer tent when a campus minister met up with him. The campus minister invited the student to join him for a bible study with an unbeliever. The student felt led to share his testimony, which led to the young man committing himself to Christ afterwards!

Friday (Dec. 1) All Campus Gathering Rocked!

For those of you who made it out to Hayden on Friday:
Wasn't it awesome?

For those of you who couldn't make it out to Hayden on Friday:
Don't worry, this is only the beginning.

I know I am not alone when I say that Friday marked the historic beginning of something amazing at Arizona State. Praise the Lord for His moving on ASU. Praise Him for His amazing grace to our campus!
